There is a 24/7 on-site security team at the main gate of the Estate. We also have security cameras that are at vantage points on the exterior of the house.
Your host can be reached via email, text and a phone call 24/7. Our cleaners are on site once a week and a handyman is available if needed upon request at reasonable hours during the day or in the evening.
Dawa Residence is perfectly situated in the friendly suburb of Oyarifa. A short drive away to some of Accra’s most scenic and award-winning tourist attractions. The house is nestled in a quiet gated community 30 minutes from the airport and opposite the High Tension Police State, within 5 minutes drive of the Aburi Mountains and the Botanical Gardens and other unforgettable attractions.
The Peduase Valley Resort, Bendu Village, Aburi Botanical gardens and Cactus Creek are approximately 7-15 minutes away by car (Uber, Yango and Bolt). Shared public buses (trotro) are very popular on these routes during the day and you can conveniently hail one down by the main road which is within 3 minutes walk from the estate.
You can take a day trip up to explore these stunning attractions up the mountains. The shared public buses run from very early in the morning until about 6pm.
Madina, East Legon, Airport, Cantonments/Labone Osu and Accra central (where the famous Makola market is located) are between 10-50 mins drive from your accommodation. If you’re the adventurous type and want to have a true local experience, you can hop on trotro (the shared public transport). These buses take nearly twice the commute time of a private transport.
Uber and Yango are recommended for travels particularly at night and for hassle free travels in and around accra during the day.
